The pictures of Wayne are of him when he was younger and the older one
was taken in 1969. I sent the clipping. I'm not sure of the date when Uncle Wayne visited with his scouts but I think I was still living at home (late '50s or early '60s).

Wayne was an Explorer Troop Leader in the Boy Scouts. One year, his troop made a trip to the Northwest and visited with Elizabeth while they came through Oregon.

Wayne was the oldest. He lived in Long Beach, California, and moved back to the Ft. Collins area in his last years and died of a heart ailment.

He had a TURP called a "roto-rooter job," for an enlarged prostrate. Then, he was in ICCU and died. I believe he died of heart failure, or a heart attack.
